Merton's Learning Disability Partnership Board shapes the direction of the Learning Disability service. It was set up in October 2001 as our first step towards implementing "Valuing People", the Government White Paper on learning disabilities.
The 40 member Board is chaired by the Partnership Manager, and represents the interests of many stakeholders. It includes carers and services users, social services, health and voluntary sector organisations.
The Partnership Board has been meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at the
High Path Community Resource Centre. However, this arrangement is under review. Please contact the Learning Disabilities Team for the latest arrangements.
