Carers Strategy

Merton Carers Strategy 2021-2026

This strategy sets out the vision for Merton’s offer to adult carers and the actions that we will take over the next five years in order to achieve this.

We are working in partnership with local carers, South West London Clinical Commissioning Group, Primary Care Networks, South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust, Carers Support Merton, Merton Mencap, the Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK Merton, Healthwatch Merton, and the Department for Work and Pensions to implement the Merton Carers Strategy 2021-2026. All partners are working together to make lives better for carers in Merton.

The Health and Wellbeing Board approved the Strategy in November 2020 and work is well underway to deliver the priority outcomes set out in the 5 year Strategy. Partners are also working to join together implementation of the Merton’s Carers Strategy 2021-2026 and the Young Carers Strategy 2019-2021.
