Controlled parking zones (CPZs) are areas where special parking restrictions apply. Within a CPZ you must park in a designated bay and display a permit that is valid for the bay, or a disabled blue badge, or if parking in a pay and display bay, a valid pay and display ticket.

Kerbsides in CPZs are marked with either yellow lines or parking bays. Permits or pay and display tickets are not valid on yellow lines.
