Leyton Road Centre is a purpose – built day centre in Colliers Wood for adults with learning disabilities. We offer social and leisure based activities designed to meet the needs of people with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
There is a wide range of activities on offer in the centre – for example; computer groups, cooking, music, singing, sensory/relaxation, gentle exercise and community groups. We have a pool table, air hockey table, table tennis tables, fully equipped sensory room and a large garden. Each service user is given the opportunity to choose their timetable of activities.
The learning disability day service is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3.30 pm.
Leyton Road Centre is just 5 minutes’ walk from Colliers Wood underground station, and if you are driving there is a small car park at the centre which is accessible via Holmes Road; alternatively there is 2 hours free car parking at the large Sainsbury's just over the main road from the centre. Cycle parking is available and bus routes 57, 131 and 219 stop nearby.

There is also an Outreach Team based at Leyton Road. They provide social and leisure opportunities in the community for adults with learning disabilities in the evening and at weekends. Their team can be contacted via the centre.
