We have been successful in a bid to Transport for London (TfL) to fund safety and accessibility improvements across the Borough.

The improvements include the widening of the south-western footway between London Road and Madeira Road for better pedestrian accessibility

Works will start on 25 February 2019 and it is expected to take approximately 4 weeks, which will include a westwards directional traffic closure with diversions through Mitcham Town Centre
