Fostering information events

We have launched an emergency appeal to recruit more Foster Carers, as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. We greatly appreciate any interest that you have in fostering with Merton and we can now fast track fostering applications, find out more about how you can transform a child's life at one of our Fostering information sessions.

Fostering information sessions via Skype

We are currently hosting Information Sessions via Skype. They will be hosted by the Publicity and Recruitment Officer, an assessing Social Worker as well as an experienced Foster Carer, who will answer any questions that you have about Fostering with Merton. We will discuss what fostering entails, what makes a good foster carer, why children need fostering, as well as the assessment process, the types of payment and support you'll, as well as how fostering can change and child's and your families and much more.

There is need to book and if you want to join one of our sessions to find out more about Fostering with Merton, please email Rosie.Bradley@merton.gov.uk ask to be added to the session or call the number and enter the meeting ID to be part of the conversation.

The sessions will be hosted via a Skype Video call, but you can also take part as an audio call via a telephone numbers detailed below.
