Formal Consultation - 7 July 2011

Merton Council intends to reduce the provision of 20 minutes free parking to 10 minutes free parking within the pay & display only bays on Arthur Road. The times of operation of the pay and display bays and pricing policy will remain unchanged. The purpose of this proposal is to increase the turnover of vehicles and therefore increase usage. It is considered that 10 minutes is sufficient for passing trade. Longer visits can be accommodated through pay & display facilities.
