London Borough Merton Leisure team provides leisure and cultural activities (including events and courses) within the borough which includes the Watersport Centre located within Wimbledon Park.
Why we need your information and how we use it
The information is to allow the Leisure team to be able to provide the services to the residents of the borough.
What type of information is collected from you
The following information may be requested by the team
- Name
- Address
- E-mail address
- Telephone numbers
- Bank details for direct debit payments
- Age/date of birth for under 16 year olds (parent consent required)
- Permission to photograph/video participants and use the images for promotional purposes
- Health details – to ensure that the participant health needs can be accommodated whilst they are participating.
- Other personal details – not covered by any other item above but where the parent/guardian/participant considers it in the best interest of the participant for their personal well being
Who your information is shared with
Staff/service providers so that they are best able to carry out the service provision and best meet the needs of the participants.
Council officers of the council in order to process bookings, implement marketing and deliver the services provided.
How long we keep it
In accordance with the Council’s Corporate retention schedule.
