The admission arrangements for 2021 for all maintained state funded schools in the London Borough of Merton have been determined. Copies of the determined arrangements for 2021/22 are available below.

Any person or body who considers that any maintained school or academy's arrangements are unlawful, or not in compliance with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be referred to the Adjudicator by 15 May in the determination year. Further information on how to make an objection can be obtained from the Office of the Schools Adjudicator

Merton community and voluntary controlled schools

Please note that the admissions arrangements for 2021/22 have been amended as of 21 January 2021. The published admissions number for West Wimbledon is now 30 rather than 60. This follows a request for an in year variation submitted to the Schools Adjudicator by Merton Council. Confirmation was received from the Schools Adjudicator on 21 January 2021 that the request had been approved. The published admissions number for Reception entry at West Wimbledon starting September 2021 is therefore set at 30.  The arrangements were further amended on 12 August 2021 as required, in line with the new School Admissions Code that comes into force on 1 September 2021.
