Licensing and safety consultations

The proposed event is subject to obtaining the necessary licenses. The council will engage with the Safety Advisory Group to ensure all safety and regulatory aspects are thoroughly addressed.

Community impact and sanitisation measures

In anticipation of the proposed event, plans include the placement of extra toilets between the park and travel points to maintain standards and provide convenience for attendees.

Enhanced security measures

Should the event proceed, it will feature enhanced security measures both inside and outside the venue. Security plans will be developed in collaboration with experienced festival management companies to ensure a safe environment.

Community liaison and environmental care

The council plans to appoint a dedicated community manager for the duration of the event to address any community concerns, particularly focusing on litter management to minimise environmental impact, this will also include additional environmental enforcement officers being present.

Resident engagement and hotline

A proposal includes setting up a hotline for residents. This hotline will be operational during the event for residents to raise concerns or report issues, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
