A festive, magical quest for the whole family

When Clara receives a super-cool enchanted Nutcracker toy, one thing’s for sure - she doesn’t want her accident-prone little brother, Fritz, anywhere near it! But with rumours of an evil, seven-headed Mouse King trying to steal Christmas, Clara might just need the help of Fritz to save the day!

Join Olivier award-winning Little Bulb ("Wolf Witch Giant Fairy") and Polka Theatre for a magical, musical quest of heroism and surprising rodent singalongs, featuring a sleigh-load of familiar festive bangers that’ll have you dancing in your seat.

Discover a world blanketed in wonder in this brand-new dance adaptation of ‘The Snowy Day’, inspired by the award-winning picture book by Ezra Jack Keats. Join Peter as he crunches through the snowy streets of his New York neighbourhood, in this intimate and interactive icy adventure.

Brought to life by Polka Theatre and Can’t Sit Still, the award nominated company behind ‘Oh No, George!’, The Snowy Day is specially designed for 1-4 year olds and their grown-ups, featuring one dancer, original music and an immersive, enchanting set. Join us at Polka Theatre this winter to experience the magic of fresh snowfall in Keats' classic, heart-warming tale.

St John's January Lunchtime Concert: Anian Wiedner (organ)
Please join us for our first lunchtime concert of the year at St John's, Wimbledon with Anian Wiedner (organ).

Generously supported by the Tertis Foundation, Anian will be playing Messiaen’s L’Ascension and Franck’s Chorale No.2 in B minor.

Doors open from 12.30pm for tea/coffee/homemade cake and savouries. Entry is free with a retiring collection to support St John's Music Fund.

Join us for a special evening of music from our in-house Lantern Handbells Group and featured guests!

The Lantern Handbells group will be playing such classics as Londonderry Air, Skye Boat Song, Largo from Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Yesterday by the Beatles, You Raise Me Up, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Chariots of Fire, and Pié Jesu.

Interspersed with songs from Johnny Keefe and Emma Carroll, Stephen Hall on the trumpet, and Steve Humphrys and Jason Ching on the piano, this beautiful musical evening is not to be missed!

This is a story about an ant called Amy (an award-winning ant one might add), her brother Andy and a Brown Spider.

Amy the ant works very hard. When she wins the Employee of the Month Award, Amy feels a happiness that drives her to work even harder. But is she truly content? With the help of the Brown Spider, Amy learns to find true happiness by appreciating the world around her and celebrating her brother’s memory in the everyday.

Come and support local businesses at Mitcham Market Square!

On the second Saturday of every month, Mitcham Market hosts a series of small businesses selling unique crafts and delicious foods. Enjoy with friends or family and shop local.
