Community Toilet Scheme

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Community Toilet Scheme in Morden Town Centre.

How does the scheme work?

The Community Toilet Scheme enables local businesses like pubs, restaurants and shops, to work together with the council to make more clean, safe and accessible toilets available to the public.

Participating premises will display an appropriate sticker in their window:

You can use toilet facilities during the premises opening hours and without the need to make a purchase. Businesses have the right to refuse entry in exceptional circumstances.

To find out how your business can join the scheme contact Town Centre Management by telephoning 020 8545 3837 or by e-mailing future.merton@merton.gov.uk. Membership is subject to area need, types of facilities and other factors and is not automatic.

Regular monitoring of the scheme will take place through Town Centre Management and Safer Merton.
