Join Crafty Kids this summer for an adventure full of interactive storytelling, drama, play, movement and song! Getting all the children involved in the action. After, children can enjoy making themed crafts to take home.
Parents/carers are not required to stay on site for the duration of the class. We do have a cafe at our venue to stay in if you wish.
Course dates and times
James and The Giant Peach (4 – 7 years)

Come and Join dramabuds and Ribbon Arts as we bring Roald Dahl's tale of James and the Giant Peach to life. We meet James and his 2 horrid aunts before discovering a Giant Peach with 'hairy, scary creatures' inside. The week will be filled with song and dance and art and craft making. The week will end with a performance to friends and family and a chance to see their art creations.
James and the Giant Peach (8 - 11 years)
13 - 17 August
1.30 - 4pm
We will be exploring Roald Dahl's 'James and the Giant Peach' story and learning to act and create new scenes from the story. Alongside the drama we will be using our creativity skills to design and make our own crafts using cardboard, paint & collage. These classes are a great way for children to build their confidence using their creativity, imagination and literacy skills.
You can come dressed in your favourite outfit for these fun sessions! The week long course will finish with a drama and art performance on Friday. All the crafts children make during the sessions will be treasures to take home afterwards.
£75.00 per child.
What to bring
Children should wear a T shirt teamed with comfy bottoms that are good for moving around in and soft shoes or bare feet. Aprons will be supplied for the arts & crafts, please do bring a bag to take your crafts home in. Please also bring a drink and a snack for the break.
