Update May 2021

Following the statutory consultation carried out in February, the Cabinet Member has made a decision to introduce a CPZ H3 in Gap Road. A decision has also been made to implement the proposed double yellow lines along Durnsford Road.

Statutory consultation 4 February 2021

Following the informal consultation earlier this year, we are carrying out a statutory consultation on our intention to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)  in Gap Road to operate Monday to Saturday between 3pm and 6.30pm and ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) in Pitt Crescent and Durnsford Road between its junction with Plough Lane and the Railway Bridge).

Let us know your views (July-September 2020)

We are seeking the views of the community for a proposed controlled parking zone (CPZ) by asking all parties to submit their views through the online e-questionnaire, see the web link below.

The decision on whether or not to proceed with the next stage, which would involve a statutory consultation on the proposal, will be subject to the online responses received during this informal consultation.
