Dental treatment
Dentists are very busy because there is a backlog of patients.
If you are seeking a routine appointment this may not be possible: patients in pain or at risk of losing teeth will be prioritised.
Most dental practices are open but are having to prioritise patients with urgent need and delayed treatments over routine and non-urgent dental care.
Only visit your dental practice if you have an appointment.
If you can't make your appointment, let your practice know.
If you think you need urgent dental treatment:
- call your dentist
- use NHS 111 online if you cannot contact your dentist or you do not have one
