Morden Park House

Delightfully restored by English Heritage in 2000, Morden Park House stands majestic in Morden Park. The front of the house, which you can see on our website, is a magnificent backdrop for photographs.

With its imposing avenue of horse chestnut trees and colourful flowers, the private courtyard at the rear of the house provides an ideal meeting place for your guests.

Inside are the Register Office and three licensed rooms. Access to all floors is available by stairs or lift. Parking is available in the car park next to the house.

Lord Nelson RoomThe Lord Nelson Room

The Lord Nelson Room has been beautifully decorated in pale lemon and a striking blue. The elegant Georgian Bay windows, crystal chandelier and fresh white flowers create a wonderful ambience for any ceremony. The view from this room is of the courtyard with its impressive trees.

Up to 40 guests can be invited to take part in ceremonies in this room, some seated, some standing. Following the ceremony the central staircase will be for the bride and groom's exclusive use, providing superb photo opportunities.

The Register Office

The Register Office is located on the ground floor overlooking the park. It is ideal for simple ceremonies with a maximum of six guests.

Sheridan RoomThe Sheridan Room

This charming room, decorated in green and gold, provides an intimate setting for any ceremony. With space for 30 guests, this room has French windows which open directly into the park.

The Sheridan Room is situated at the front of the house. Afterwards the bride and groom can have photographs taken of them on the striking staircase in the centre of the house.

Ewart RoomThe Ewart Room

Imagine a film set, you as the lead character, sweeping down the central staircase to greet your guests. The Ewart Room, at the top of the house on the second floor, provides this opportunity with its wonderful architecture typical of an 18th century house. This room will seat 100 people and after the ceremony the central staircase will be for the bride and groom's exclusive use offering superb photo opportunities.

We provide fresh flowers to enhance this room, in addition you may provide additional decoration such as ribbons and ties if you wish. So spacious is the room that if you wish to have live music such as a string quartet, there is ample space. We would be delighted to discuss your requirements. You need an extended appointment for a ceremony in this room so we recommend booking early.
