Morden Park House

Delightfully restored by English Heritage in 2000, Morden Park House stands majestic in Morden Park. The front of the house, which you can see on our website, is a magnificent backdrop for photographs.

With its unspoilt, secluded courtyard bisected by two vast, thriving flowerbeds awash with colour, this private space at the rear of the house provides an ideal meeting place for your guests.

Inside are the Register Office and three licensed rooms. Access to all floors is available by stairs or lift. Parking is available in the car park next to the house.

The Georgian Room

This intimate room, located on the ground floor, overlooks the picturesque South West view across Morden park and provides an elegant option for a smaller ceremony. Please note we can only allow a maximum of six guests.

This charming room, bright and airy all year round, decorated in green and gold, provides a sublime setting for any ceremony. With space for 30 guests, this room has French windows which open directly onto the park.

The Sheridan Room is situated at the front of the house. Afterwards the bride and groom can have photographs taken of them on the striking staircase in the centre of the house.

Lord Nelson RoomThe Lord Nelson Room

The Lord Nelson Room has been beautifully decorated in pale lemon and a striking blue. The elegant Georgian Bay windows, crystal chandelier create a wonderful ambience for any ceremony with views over our private courtyard.

Up to 40 guests can be accommodated in this room. Following the ceremony the central staircase will be for the bride and groom's exclusive use, providing superb photo opportunities.

Ewart RoomThe Ewart Room

Imagine a film set, you as the lead character, sweeping down the central staircase to greet your guests. The Ewart Room, at the top of the house on the second floor, provides this opportunity with its wonderful architecture typical of an 18th century house. This room seats 100 people and after the ceremony the central staircase will be for the bride and groom's exclusive use offering superb photo opportunities.

We provide fresh flowers to enhance this room and there is ample space if you wish to have live music such as a string quartet. We would be delighted to discuss your requirements. You need an extended appointment for a ceremony in this room so we recommend booking early.
