Merton Council and AccessAble Surveying Workshop
AccessAble have been partnered with Merton Council for a number of years to create over 150 Access Guides for Merton. These Guides contain over 1,000 pieces of access information with a pan-disability approach so that residents and visitors with a disability can make independent and informed decisions about where they would like to go out. This helps reduce social isolation amongst disabled and older people and promotes independence.
This surveying workshop is comprised of 2 parts; an informal session wherein the presenter will discuss the different types of access information that AccessAble collect to create their smaller Access Guides. Lunch will then be provided and in the afternoon there is the optional session to go to some local venues for an hour and collect some access information.
A £10 gift voucher is given as a thank you for attending.
