October Half term: Rugby & Tennis camp

October half term is fast approaching - at John Innes we have prepared a unique and exciting camp for your kids - Rugby & Tennis camp The 1st camp of its kind which specialises in both Rugby and Tennis and the crossover skills required to become an elite athlete. With over 160 caps for Harlequins and appearances for both England and The Barbarians, Dave Ward brings a wealth of experience and specialist insight. As a Level 4 Championship coach he will be looking to get the most out of the athletes in order to fulfil their full potential. Having played and coached tennis worldwide, Mojca Gabrovsek brings a wealth of tennis experience to the camp. Head Coach at John Innes TC in Wimbledon and Varsity coach at International School in Cobham, the LTA level 3 coach will be putting the participants through their paces. The Camp Hours: 10:00 – 15:00 Each day will consist of 2hrs rugby and 2hrs tennis, video analysis and examples from professional sports and the athletes themselves. Athletes will be provided with 1 rugby jersey and 1 tennis shirt. Coaches: Dave Ward: RFU and LTA Accredited, advanced DBS cleared, up to date Safeguarding and First Aid enabled. Mojca Gabrovsek: LTA Accredited, advanced DBS cleared, up to date Safeguarding and First Aid enabled. Camp hours: 10am - 3pm; extensions available from 9-10am and 3-5pm, free of charge.
