Communities and Knife Crime - Working Together to Keep Merton Safe
Merton is proud to be one of the safest boroughs in London but we are aware that our borough, and our residents, are unfortunately affected by knife crime and that, for our residents – young, old and all in-between – that crime, and fear of crime is a key concern to them
As such Merton’s Community Safety Partnership is hosting a community call to action event on Saturday 18 May in Morden Baptist Church, Crown Lane, Morden, SM4 5BL
The event will see partner agencies providing presentations on their work and how they contribute to tackling knife crime and we will also have a market place where a wider group of partners will offer help and advice on their services and how to access them. Partners will include Police, London Fire Brigade, Victim Support, Crimestoppers as well as Unique Talent, Catch 22, Redthread to name but a few. We will be seeking to provide reassurances and hear your views and suggestions as to how we may work together on this agenda.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day.
