Fostering Information Evening

Have you ever wondered what Fostering is and would like to find out more? If you have, why don’t you come to one of our Fostering Information Events at Morden Baptist Church, you’ll find out more about fostering with Merton, meet the team, as well as an experienced foster carer. We will talk about what fostering is? How the assessment process works, the types of support, training, and payments you'll receive, as well as how fostering could affect your family life and much more. We urgently need more foster carers in Merton for teenagers, sibling groups and unaccompanied asylum seeking minors. As a Merton Foster Carer you could receive up to £514 per week, per child, plus additional grants, 24 hour support, 7 days a week, on-going training and development and much more. All you need is a spare bedroom and the willingness to provide a home to a child in need and some childcare experience. Fostering Information Events, Morden Baptist Church, Crown Lane, SM4 5BL. You don't need to book a place and there is free parking at the church for anyone attending the events. If you can't make these events, call us for chat and to find out more. We can always arrange a time for a social worker to visit your home and discuss fostering with you in more detail, if it it's more convenient. Tel: 0800 073 0874 or 0208 545 4070 or visit or email
