Anti-social behaviour

Report anti-social behaviour

We take all reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) seriously and work closely with other agencies including the Police, housing services, other landlords, youth agencies, safeguarding services, mental health teams and victim support, to ensure people feel safe.

We will record all reports of ASB but can only take action where we can investigate, gather evidence and independently witness ASB.

Who to contact

  • If you rent your property from a housing association, you must contact them to report the behaviour in the first instance. We will work with them if they are unable to resolve the issue.
  • If you own your home or live in a private rented property, you can report ASB to us by:

Calls and emails will be answered during office hours only: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What happens next

We will review all complaints of ASB, to understand the cause and identify best options available to solve it.

We will work with other agencies where necessary to provide a suitable resolution.

If you’re unhappy with how your case is handled, you may be able to apply for an antisocial behaviour case review.

When to contact the police

All criminal behaviour should be reported to the police including theft, drug dealing, hate crime, threats of violence, harassment, and intimidation.

In an emergency call 999 if you think there is an immediate threat to life or property.

If it is not an emergency call 101.

If it doesn't require an immediate police response, or a crime has already taken place, you can report antisocial behaviour to the Metropolitan Police online.
