Introduction
Buying a grave for future use is known as 'purchase in reserve'. We only offer this service at Gap Road Cemetery.
Only one space can be bought per household but each grave can hold three coffin burials and 12 cremation remains.

Location
Graves are only available in the G section of the Gap Road Cemetery. Graves are given out by us and will be the next one in sequence.
Religion
The section is multi-faith. There are no separate sections for different religions.

Residents and non-residents of Merton
The service is available to residents and non-residents of Merton Borough. Please note there is a difference in price for non-residents.
Fees and charges
There is a surcharge to purchase a grave in reserve. See fees and charges .
Payment will be required in full by credit or debit card by the end of the next working day following the viewing of the grave.
