What is it?

The Nationality Document Return Service (NDRS) is provided for those who have applied for British Citizenship using the new online application form system rather than the paper application. It allows you to apply without having to submit your passports / travel documents or original supporting documents except for the original 'Life in the UK' test certificate and referee page.

Please note that this is not a checking service. We cannot answer questions or offer advice regarding your application.

For advice on the application process or what is required of you, please contact the Home Office on 0300 123 2241.

The Home Office may contact you for further information after your application has been submitted.
