About Morden Park House

Delightfully restored by English Heritage in 2000, Morden Park House stands majestic in Morden Park. The front of the house, which you can see on our website, is a magnificent backdrop for photographs.

With its unspoilt, secluded courtyard bisected by two vast, thriving flowerbeds awash with colour, this private space at the rear of the house provides an ideal meeting place for your guests.

Inside are the Register Office and three licensed rooms. Access to all floors is available by stairs or lift. Parking is available in the car park next to the house.

At the top of the impressive central staircase is our largest ceremony room providing the optimum splendour of this unique 18th century house. This room seats 100 people and after the ceremony the central staircase will be for the bride and groom's exclusive use offering superb photo opportunities.

We provide fresh flowers to enhance this room and there is ample space if you wish to have live music such as a string quartet. We would be delighted to discuss your requirements. You need an extended appointment for a ceremony in this room so we recommend booking early.

Seat Covers and Organza bows

We have an array of organza colours available, please enquire if you are interested in a specific colour. This enhancement to your special day costs only £2.00 per chair.

The Courtyard

Recently landscaped, our courtyard offers the opportunity to marry in an exquisite, period wooden gazebo nestled in beautifully manicured grounds. The bridal party can walk through a series of trellised arches as a romantic entrance to a unique experience.
