This bulletin provides advance notice of roadworks in Merton along with in progress works. We recognise that roadworks can cause inconvenience and we hope this information helps to minimise delays and allow you to plan alternative routes or choose more sustainable ways to travel.
A217 London Road / A216 Streatham Road, Mitcham
Directional Closure in place, with a full suspension and closure of the Bus Lane between Holborn Way and Locks Lane, Northbound Traffic on diversion via Western Road, Christchurch Road, A24 High Street Colliers Wood and Tooting High Street and Mitcham Road.
Works started 22 January to complete repairs on multiple gas leaks and mains replacement.
