The Residents’ Panel is a large number of local people who have agreed to be consulted regularly by Merton Council about services and local matters.
The issues we will contact you about might include local education, refuse collection, crime and community safety, or disability issues.
The people on the panel come from all parts of Merton, and include young and older people, men and women, and disabled people.
The Panel's views will be taken into account when the council makes decisions.
We are currently reviewing the role of the Panel. You are still welcome to join but we are not currently conducting regular surveys soley with Panel members.
You can complete an online application form.
Once you have filled in the form, your details will be added to the list of Panel members. The list is used to contact Panel members to ask them to take part in a survey, a focus group or a telephone interview. You can still decide whether to take part or not and you can ask to have your name removed from the Panel at any time.
Members of the Residents Panel have contributed to several consultations including the Merton Libraries Opening Hours Survey 2009 and the Safer Merton Strategic Review.
