Mitcham carnival

The 2014 Mitcham Carnival took place on Saturday 14 June on Three Kings Piece, Commonside West, Mitcham. The theme was 'Colours of the Commonwealth'.

Gabz first came to the public's attention when she appeared at The London Palladium. She performing at the auditions of the 7th series of 'Britain's Got Talent' which was aired on ITV on 26 May 2013 - the very last auditionee to be shown. She sang and played her own song 'The One' and after reaching the live finals this song was released on June 30, renamed Lighters (The One), reaching number 6 in the official UK charts. At the age of just 14 Gabz has already achieved one of her dreams -to have written and performed on a top ten single.

Since Britain’s Got Talent, Gabz has been working really hard with her school work and also fitting in appearances on Radio One, ITV Day Break, This Morning, Friday Download, The Olympic Park ‘Go Local Event’ alongside McFly and red carpet premieres of movies as well as numerous personal appearances. Gabz has also had the opportunity to fly in and co-pilot a real stunt plane and interviewed the director and producer of the Disney‘ Planes’ movie.

Gabz released her second single “Lie There”, which she wrote herself, on 3 November 2013.

Gabz has written 40 songs (as of January 2014) and is currently working on her first studio album and about to embark on her first UK Tour as a special guest to Anttix.


Future Pro Wrestling

FPW Future Pro Wrestling based in Wallington bring some of the best of British UK talent to Mitcham Carnival this year.

Future Pro Wrestling was set up back in October of 2010 by three local guys that grew up and went to school in the Mitcham area, Steve Evans, Matthew Burden and Lee Elmer. FPW are proud to bring you three live wrestling matches featuring the FPW Champion RJ Singh, the FPW Tag Team Champions the Swords of Essex Will Ospreay and Paul Robinson.
