Further information

Central offers

If you received an offer for a school you did not name on your application form, it is known as a Central Offer. This means that we were unable to offer a place at any of the schools you named in your application. We have offered you a place at the closest school that had vacancies after all other offers had been made. We would recommend that you consider the school that you have been offered, perhaps even visiting to see what they can offer you child.

Waiting lists

Waiting lists are held in order of the published admissions criteria for the school. This means that a child can go down the list as well as up if new applications are received that rank higher.

The waiting lists for Merton schools will be kept open until 31 December 2015. If we are able to offer a place from a school’s waiting list before that date, we will write to you.

Waiting list positions for Merton community schools will be available from School Admissions after 13 April 2015.
