Civic Centre Coffee Shop

The coffee shop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.00pm. Access is via the first floor of the library.

These can be accessed via the enquiry desk, and "Periodicals in Merton".

Facilities for hire

When booking the exhibition space in the café area, exhibitors would need to go via the central booking system of the civic centre. When wanting to display in Morden library itself exhibitors would need to contact the Library Manager.

Nelson collection; William Morris collection; school governors collection; recorded music; collection of composers; Mahler and Rossini, Duke Ellington; smaller collections of jazz compilations; Canadian, Indian Folk Music; spoken word; Alan Strugnell jazz collection on vinyl.  

Groups and meetings held in the library

Merton Heritage Forum - talks by local societies. Reading for Pleasure - the Morden Readers' Group which meets monthly on Saturdays, check the Events page below for details. New members are always welcome.  

Items for sale in the library

Wide range of local history items, including books, maps and calendars, postcards and floppy disks.
