
Students can learn English and take nationally recognised qualifications in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.Prior to enrolment all students are required to attend an assessment session in order to place you on the right course. Please bring your passport or Home Office papers and proof of benefit. Please note if you are a visitor and not eligible for funded study in the UK, you will have to pay £5.60 per hour.
Our general ESOL courses are designed to develop students’ English language ability in the four skills of reading, writing speaking and listening. At the end of their course students may enter for the Skills for Life examination in reading, writing and speaking and listening.
These courses have been designed to help improve your employment prospects, whether you are a job seeker or currently in full or part-time work. You will improve your English language skills and have the opportunity to take the Cambridge ESOL for Work Examination, an internationally recognised qualification, at the end of the course. The examination tests the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, parts of which can be taken online.
