Hannah Doody was appointed Chief Executive at London Borough of Merton in July 2021. Prior to that, she was Merton's Director of Community and Housing for almost four years.
She has held previous senior roles in the Royal Boroughs of Kingston and Greenwich. Last year, Hannah also took on the role of Interim Director of Children, Schools and Families in Merton.
She has played an important leadership role in the council's collective systems approach and response to the pandemic while maintaining a focus on communities. She has a deep understanding of the role partners and communities have played in this and the need to continue this engagement as we recover from the pandemic.
