Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE), run by Merton Youth Service, is available to all young people in Merton aged 14-25 years.

Programmes of leisure time activities cover sport, volunteering, skills and expeditions. It's a national scheme, recognised as a valuable accreditation (or qualification) by employers and institutes of further and higher education. Awards are gained at bronze, silver or gold level.

DofE provides the opportunity to develop existing or new interests, experience adventure and make new friends through an individual programme of personal development. It is also a lot of fun!
