We offer a programme of training courses and professional development for staff who are currently working in Ofsted registered Merton Early Years and Childcare settings and schools.
Courses and meetings from January 2014 are available for booking via the SAMS CPD online booking system.
You will need to register on the website and login to make a booking. Please note: only staff who are currently working in Ofsted registered Merton Early Years and Childcare settings and schools will be authorised to book places. If you work in a group setting and wish to attend a course, please speak to your manager as your request will have to be authorised.
Bookings cannot be made via email.
From January 2014, training courses are provided free of charge only to eligible PVIs and childminders which have joined the Core Offer of the revised Merton Continuous Improvement Framework (September 2013) and to primary schools, children’s centres and Local Authority managed preschools and nurseries.
Eligible PVIs and childminders which have not joined the Core Offer of the revised Merton Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) will be charged for attendance on all courses.
Booking Conditions (0.1MB) have been revised for courses running from January 2014 to reflect the very significant changes to the way London Borough of Merton supports registered Ealy Years and Childcare settings. Please ensure you read these in full before booking and make sure you understand all requirements of the conditions, such as any course fees and payments and cancellation notice periods and fees. When you make a booking, you have to agree to the booking conditions and you will be bound by them.
Please read the details for each course that you are interested in before booking. The information provided will help you decide whether a course is suitable for your needs, show you if you are eligible to attend and will tell you where and when the course will take place.
